Jennifer Parker

Vice President, Communications & External Engagement

Jenn leads Nova Scotia Power’s efforts to engage with Nova Scotians and to share the story of our continuing clean energy journey across our province and beyond.

Having first joined NS Power in 2009, she has previously held customer and communications-focused roles with the utility, including Director of Customer Solutions, Director of Customer Care, and Director of Communications.

Jenn returned to NS Power in 2024 after three years as Senior Director of Corporate Communications at Emera, where she helped strengthen the company’s community investment program and deepen stakeholder relationships.

Jenn began her career by working in the energy sector in the Maritimes for close to a decade. She has served as Chair of the Board of Directors for 211 Nova Scotia, a free helpline serving Nova Scotians who are seeking information about community and social services. She holds a Bachelor of Public Relations from Mount Saint Vincent University.
