Understanding Your Bill
While meters continue to accurately record energy use, we are not currently able to retrieve the information remotely and apply it to your bill. As a result, we are continuing to provide billing in two ways: estimated bills and physical meter reads.
Customer Support
If you're struggling to pay your bill, we're here to help! In support of Nova Scotians living on a low income, our HomeWarming program provides energy efficient upgrades for homeowners, while our Home Energy Assistance Top-up (HEAT) Fund supports with funds for home heating during the cold winter months.
There are also support programs available through the government and Efficiency Nova Scotia. We continue to work with customer advocates, including the Affordable Energy Coalition, as well as the provincial government, on ways to ensure support for our customers living on a lower income.
