As set out in the Public Utilities Act (Nova Scotia), the Nova Scotia Energy Board (NSEB), formerly the Utility and Review Board (UARB), exercises general supervision over electric utilities operating as public utilities within the province of Nova Scotia, including Nova Scotia Power.
